Hometown

Born in Newport Beach and moved to San Diego when I was 3! My hometown is San Marcos, and I moved to Carlsbad when I was 16.

What do you love about Recruiting and your work at VIA Technical?

When I was in college I knew I wanted to be in sales. My mom had been in Insurance her whole life, and I worked for an insurance broker while putting myself through college, and I always thought I’d follow her path. I thought the job “Technical Recruiter” sounded so prestigious and applied to a role that was posted on my college job board. That led to my first job with my degree being in tech recruiting. From there I landed at VIA and have been here ever since. What I love about recruiting is the relationship building. I’ve been in San Diego my whole life and drove by all these businesses not knowing what they were. Now I proudly drive by and know so many of them and get the chance to work with some of them. It's amazing to know that I helped grow their teams, or I met with a CEO or CTO at one of those large organizations. It is such a close knit community and I’ve met so many amazing people. If I wasn’t in recruiting I wouldn’t have that opportunity, and to help someone land their dream job is so rewarding. It makes the constant grind so worth it!

What are your Passions/Interests?

I am passionate about my friends/family and love quality time with them, music/singing, trying new restaurants (big foodie), wine, working, shopping, traveling. I grew up wakeboarding, snowboarding, dirtbiking so love to do those things when I get the chance. Being on the lake/river is one of my favorite things.

What is your favorite thing to do or place to go in San Diego?

My favorite place to eat in San Diego is OB Noodle House. My favorite thing to do would be go to a concert or walk by the bay!
