What do you love about Recruiting and your work at VIA Technical?

With over 10 years in the IT industry, I have built my career through client relationships as being the “go-to” person for IT needs. I enjoy assisting my clients by solving their challenges and finding the right match for their company. I enjoy that I get to use my strengths in a fast-paced work environment to assist clients and focusing on having a great relationship with everyone I interact with. VIA Technical is a wonderful family-like environment in which I can learn, grow and operate with the entire company. The culture is one of the best and I’ve used a lot of their experiences to overcome the challenges and obstacles by learning from the best. I love to interact with the people I work with and the people I help and love to give my customers donuts or take them out to lunch, dinner, or happy hour.

What are your Passions/Interests?

Sports are a key part of my life. I am part of several recreational leagues for softball, pickleball, volleyball, and kickball. I also enjoy watching nearly every sport with hockey being my favorite, despite being born and raised in South Florida. I am also a movie buff with Marvel and Star Wars being my favorite franchises. I am most passionate about my family and friends, especially my wife, Shannen, who I’ve been with for over seven years. We love to have friends over and play trivia or board game while spending the time in friendly competition and relaxing. Even though I’m a dog person, I currently have a cat named Momo, who conveniently acts like a dog. Momo and Shannen are my everything here in San Diego.

What is your favorite thing to do or place to go in San Diego?

There is no shortage of great restaurants in San Diego. My wife and I love trying new spots with Italian (La Dolce Vita Ristorante in La Jolla) and Vietnamese (Pho Fifth Avenue) being my favorite cuisine. We also love exploring all of the unique neighborhoods with Del Mar and Encinitas being my favorite. We love to walk along all the beaches and walk along the main streets. We frequently go to La Jolla for dinner, movies, or just to walk around. As mentioned, I love to play all kinds of sports in San Diego, which include Volleyball or Pickleball on the weekends, Spikeball on Tuesdays in Pacific Beach, and lots of Softball and Kickball during the weekdays.
