What do you love about Recruiting and your work at VIA Technical?
What I love about recruiting is chatting with the various people I come into contact with each day. Everyone is unique in their own way that colors every conversation. It is a joy asking them questions and learning the particulars of each position, field, and particulars of their current position. Whether it be what frameworks they use to code, how they approach their work in a certain way, or how they feel about niche technical aspects particular to their position. Their passion and interest in their own works rubs off on me and encourages me to keep calling day after day.
What are your Passions/Interests?
I love anything aquatic related. Beaches, lakes, and rivers are my go-to spot for fun, ranging from: Wakeboarding/Wake skating, intertubing, paddleboarding, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, swimming, or just vibing in the water. I also love to read, go on walks, hangout with friends, play board/cards games, watch TV/Movies, and a good old fashion nap.
What is your favorite thing to do or place to go in San Diego?
My place to go in San Diego is to Pacific Beach with friends, go to a few bars, and just chat and have fun. It is nice to relax after a good day's work or to catch up after a few weeks of doing our own thing.
